The Opportunity

Tykans is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Support Analyst to be part of our team and help us continue our growth. As a Support Analyst, you will be maintaining and monitoring the various applications and systems for Tykans’ business, including communications and interactions in the support e-mail account, and creating tickets with all the appropriate details relevant to a case. The role is tasked with diagnosing and solving complex technical issues and collaborating with team members to assist with technical requirements. 

This position requires the candidate to be in Calgary. 

What You'll Do

As an Intermediate Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Engaging in thorough requirements collection and analysis to understand project needs.
  • Project Task and Time Management: Determining, assigning, tracking, and managing project tasks, activities, documentation, and timelines in accordance with internal standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Accurately assessing the risks associated with each solution design or project.
  • Project Plan Development and Management: This involves several sub-tasks, including:
    • Scope/Budget/Resource Management: Effectively managing project scope, budget, and resources.
    • Stakeholder Expectation Management: Managing the expectations of all project stakeholders, including Customer and Team Experience.
    • Project Relationship Management: Maintaining and managing all relationships associated with the project.
    • Team Management: Managing project teams to deliver projects, including task allocation, scheduling, and providing feedback.
  • Support to Business and Technology Teams: Providing necessary support to various business and technology teams during project delivery.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, business and information technology, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a plan to obtain it.
  • Relevant experience in project management with IT systems and their direct implementation.
  • Experience with applying and general knowledge of various analysis and gathering approaches, methodologies, and models.
  • Experience working with Project Management software.
  • Preferred: Experience in managing contact center implementation projects
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills, professionalism, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Experience in data organization and analysis, problem-solving, and systems documentation.
  • Ability to manage work on multiple projects while dealing with competing priorities.
